About Us
Established in 1983, Chan Nowosad Boates has grown into one of the largest CA firms in Campbell River. The firm was formed by John Chan and David Nowosad as Chan Nowosad & Company. Dave and John were joined by Shelly Boates as a partner in 1996, changing the name of the partnership to Chan Nowosad Boates, Chartered Accountants. Dave retired from the partnership in June 2004, however, the name remains unchanged. In 2006, Ray Dagenais and his staff joined our firm.
In addition to our two Partners, John and Shelly, we now have six CA's, one ACIA, seven registered students and 12 technicians and support staff. Both partners have a passion for helping the community, individuals and businesses to succeed, an attitude that shines throughout all areas of the practice.
Our mission is to provide excellent service in a friendly and professional manner that ensures client satisfaction. We are able to accomplish this by providing our clients with a comprehensive range of inter-related services in combination with expert knowledge and advice.
